I'm excited to share that I’ve officially started my DevOps learning journey. For the next 2 years, I’ll be learning and building consistently—and sharing my progress every week here on Hashnode and on LinkedIn.

🔍 What is DevOps? (As I Understand It)

DevOps is a combination of development and operations. It’s about automating processes, improving collaboration between teams, and delivering software efficiently and reliably.

From many resources and expert opinions I’ve come across, I now understand that mastering the basics is essential before diving into advanced DevOps tools.

📚 My First Focus Areas

I’ve decided to first focus on building a strong foundation, starting with:

• 🐧 Linux OS

• 💻 Shell Scripting

• 🌐 Networking Concepts

• 🔧 Git & GitHub

• 🖥 Virtualization (e.g., VirtualBox, VMware)

These skills will help me understand how systems work at a deeper level and will prepare me better for tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, etc.
